WHAT WE DO.

DC Diner

While 16.1% of households are at risk of hunger in Ohio, Dayton has a shocking 29.4% of households with children struggling with food hardship, which means that many families do not know when they will get their next meal.

The Dayton Dream Center works every week to address this need by cooking and distributing hot meals to people in downtown Dayton. We serve meals directly out of the Dream Center building on Mondays 12-1pm, Wednesday evenings 530-630pm, and Saturday 1-2pm. Saturday meals also include grocery/food donations to guests as available.

DC After School Kids Ministry

A great need exists to provide support to the many children of the under-served neighborhood surrounding the Dayton Dream Center.

We actively engage the children of east Dayton every week! Our kids program provides a safe space for kids to grow, learn, and have fun together! We offer tutoring, math and reading programs, as well as games, snacks, and take-home meals for the kids!

Suds N’ Duds

This is our on-site showers, clothing, and laundry ministry. Our laundry facility is equipped with 3 commercial washers and dryers, shower rooms, and a clothing area stocked with men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing and shoes. Guests can schedule an appointment for Suds N Duds services in person or over the phone. Days of Operation are Tuesdays 12-430, Wednesdays 10-130, and Thursdays 12-430 (By Appointment Only). You can schedule an appointment by coming to the DC throughout the week and/or giving us a call at 937-469-8840.
